AMENDMENT NOTICE:This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR 13.5, as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.The solicitation number is F3LPAA1202A001 and is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein.The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-53. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 721110 with a small business size standard of $7.00M.This requirement is a [ Small Business ] set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit bids.The solicitation pricing on www.FedBid.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2011-09-23 11:00:00.0 Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.FedBid.com.FOB Destination shall be FORT BLISS, TX 79918 The U.S. Army ACC MICC Fort Bliss requires the following items, Meet or Exceed, to the following: LI 001, Rooms (single occupancy) 39 nightsLodging - Vendor to provide two (2) each signle rooms with microwave/refridgerator combinations and wireless and/or internet service. Request applicable taxes be included in price quote. Access to individual rooms must be accomplished through the interior of the facility by means of key and/or pass key/card.Period of performance: Arriving 12 Oct 11 and departing on 20 Nov 11 (39 nights)., 78, EA; LI 002, Rooms (double occupancy) 39 nightsVendor will provide three (3) double occupancy rooms with microwave/refridgerator combinations and wireless and/or internet service. Double occupancy rooms must have two (2) seperate beds (no hideaway beds) Request applicable taxes be included in quote. Access to individual rooms must be accomplished through the interior of the facility by means of key and/or pass key/card.Period of performance: Arriving 12 Oct 11 and departing on 20 Nov 11 (39 nights)., 117, EA; LI 003, Rooms (single occupancy) 36 nightsVendor will provide one (1) each single room with microwave/refridgerator combinations and wireless and/or internet service. Access to individual rooms must be accomplished through the interior of the facility by means of key and/or pass key/card.Period of performance: Arriving 15 Oct 11 and departing on 20 Nov 11 (36 nights)., 432, EA; LI 005, Meals facility for up to 33 personnelVendor to provide adequate facilities (room/area) to facilitate a contracted vendor to serve up to thirty-three (33) personnel, breakfast meals (0600-0630) and dinner meals (1830-1930) seven (7) days a week. Vendor will provide adequate tables and chairs for personnel and food service.Period of performance is 12 Oct ? 20 Nov 11, 1, EA; LI 006, Provide 2-lbs of Ice per day for up to 33 personnelVendor to provide two (2)-pounds of ice per day for up to thirty-three (33) personnel; in the vicinity of Nogales, AZ.Period of performance, 15 Oct ? 20 Nov 11 (36 days, 2376, EA; LI 007, Laundry services for up to 33 personnelVendor to provide laundry service to wash/dry and fold clothing twice a week for up to 33 personnel, in the vicinity of Nogales, AZ. Clothing items to be dropped off and require no more than a two day turn around. Bids for laundry service to include all costs incurred (detergent, bleach plastic bags, etc.) to wash and fold. Unit will drop off / pick up a laundry bag twice a week (Monday and Thursday). The maximum amount of clothing per individual, per week will consist of no more than 6 shirts, 6 pants, 6 pairs of socks, 6 undergarments, 1 washcloth, 1 towel and 1 laundry bag. Unit to mark/tag their individual bags of laundry and vendor will return each individual's washed and folded items in a marked/tagged bag.Period of performance, 15 Oct ? 20 Nov 11 (36 days), 198, EA; LI 008, Catered Breakfast Meals for up to 33 personnelVendor will cater up to 1,183 breakfast meals to a designated location in the vicinity of Nogales, AZ, for up to 33 personnel. Breakfast meals to be served daily (Monday - Sunday) from (0600-0630). Meals may be served buffett and or full service style. Breakfast meals to offer a variety of items that will include fruits, juice, cold cereal, eggs, bacon/sausage/ham, toast/pancakes/waffles and drinks such as milk, coffee and water. Vendor will provide plates, utensils, drinking cups and glasses, napkins and associated condiments for all meals. Bid to include all costs associated with transportation, preparation, and serving the meals and gratuity. Vendor will provide, for the duratino of the mission, a 7-day menu, at a minimum, one week prior of the scheduled contracted meals, to the unit commander and/or representatives for review and approval.Period of performance 13 Oct ? 20 Nov 11., 1183, EA; LI 009, Catered Dinner Meals for up to 33 personnelVendor will cater up to 1,183 dinner meals to a designated location in the vicinity of Nogales, AZ, for up to 33 personnel. Dinner meals to be served daily (Monday - Sunday) from (1830-1930). Meals may be served buffett and or full service style. Dinner meals are to consist of servings that will include the basic food groups; grains, fruits, vegetables, meats and dairy products along with desert and dinner drinks. Vendor will provide plates, utensils, drinking cups and glasses, napkins and associated condiments for all meals. Bid to include all costs associated with transportation, preparation, and serving the meals and gratuity. Vendor will provide, for the duratino of the mission, a 7-day menu, at a minimum, one week prior of the scheduled contracted meals, to the unit commander and/or representatives for review and approval. period of Performance 12 Oct ? 19 Nov 11., 1183, EA; Solicitation and Buy Attachments ***Question Submission: Interested offerors must submit any questions concerning the solicitation at the earliest time possible to enable the Buyer to respond. Questions not received within a reasonable time prior to close of the solicitation may not be considered.*** For this solicitation, U.S. Army ACC MICC Fort Bliss intends to conduct an online competitive reverse auction to be facilitated by the third-party reverse auction provider, FedBid, Inc. FedBid has developed an online, anonymous, browser based application to conduct the reverse auction. An Offeror may submit a series of pricing bids, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction. U.S. Army ACC MICC Fort Bliss is taking this action in an effort to improve both vendor access and awareness of requests and the agency's ability to gather multiple, competed, real-time bids.All responsible Offerors that respond to this solicitation MUST submit the pricing portion of their bid using the online exchange located at www.FedBid.com.
