Description

The USDA - Forest Service, Deschutes National Forest will be issuing a Request for Quote Solicitation on October 5, 2011, to relocate the Deschutes National Forest Supervisor's Office and the Bend Fort Rock District Office to their new location. There are three project locations: The existing Deschutes National Forest Supervisor's Office located at: 1001 SW Emkay Drive Bend, OR 97702 The existing Deschutes National Forest, Bend Fort Rock District Office located at: 1230 NE 3rd Street, Suite A-262 Bend, OR 97701 The new Deschutes National Forest Supervisor's Office/Bend Fort Rock District Office located at: 63095 Deschutes Market Road Bend, OR 97701 The Government is planning a pre-proposal conference, during which potential offerors may obtain a better understanding of the work required. Offerors are encouraged to submit all questions in writing prior to the conference. Questions will be considered at any time prior or during the conference; however, offerors will be asked to confirm verbal questions in writing. Subsequent to the conference, an amendment to the solicitation containing an abstract of the questions and answers, and a list of attendees, will be disseminated. The Government assumes no responsibility for any expense incurred by an offeror prior to contract award. Offerors are cautioned that, notwithstanding any remarks or clarifications given at the conference, all terms and conditions in the solicitation remain unchanged unless they are changed by amendment to the solicitation. If the answers to conference questions, or any solicitation amendment, create ambiguities, it is the responsibility of the offeror to seek clarification prior to submitting an offer. The conference will held at the Deschutes Supervisors Office, 1001 SW Emkay Drive, Bend, OR on October 13, 2011 at 9:00 am. Contractors are strongly encouraged to attend the meeting.
