- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (http://www.neco.navy.mil/). The RFQ number is N00244-11-T-0628. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-53 and DFARS Change Notice 20110916. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The NAICS code is 333514 and the Small Business Standard is 500. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only SIMS Pump and Valve Co. under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(c). The proposed contract action is for commercial supplies: CLIN 0001 QTY- 4 - composite impellers CLIN 0002 QTY- 4 - impeller rings CLIN 0003 QTY “ 2 “ bowl sections CLIN 0004 QTY “ 2 - bowl bearings See attached specifications for all CLINs Product shall be delivered no later than 16 weeks after receipt of Government furnished material. Inspection and acceptance will be performed at the destination by a government representative. Delivery to NB Pearl Harbor, HI 96860 Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals or quotations received by the closing response date will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This notice is for information only and is not a request for proposals or a solicitation of offers. All prospective offerors are cautioned that in the event the Government is unable to determine price reasonableness based upon the offers received and market analysis, the Government will not issue a contract. This decision is solely the decision and the right of the Government. All efforts performed and all costs expended by prospective offerors in providing information requested by the solicitation are not subject to reimbursement by the Government.
