- Overhaul Specification for Various Pumps Pumps Parts List This is sources sought notice issued in accordance with FAR Part 5, FAR Part 6.302-1 and HSAM 3006.302-1. For information regarding this acquisition, contact the Contracting officials listed herein. All inquiries shall be in writing. It is anticipated that this acquisition will be unrestricted under NAICS 336611. The U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center anticipates a requirement to overhaul Pumps and Pump Units for various pieces of equipment onboard the 378 foot WHEC, the 400 foot WAGB, the 418 foot WMSL and the 420 foot WAGB Vessels; in accordance with the following attachments: a. Statement of Work entitled "Overhaul Specification for the Hydra-Start Hydraulic Pump Used on U.S. Coast Guard 378 foot WHEC Vessel, R-556-0619, dated 04/2011"; b. Statement of Work entitled "Overhaul Specification for Various Pumps Used on Various U.S. Coast Guard Cutters, R-503-0616, dated 04/2011";and c. Pumps Parts List. This requirement must be completed utilizing only the following Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs),genuine parts from Allied Pump Co.; Blackmer System One, Inc.; Pan Pacific Supply Co.; Inc., Bosh Rexroth Corporation; Buffalo Pump; Carver Pump Co.; Crane Deming Pumps Cummins-Wagner Company Inc.; Gardner Denver Nash, LLC; Goulds Pumps Div.; Haldex Hydraulics Corp.; Hanns-Otto Renk Pumps, Leistritz Corp.; IMO Pump Div.; Iron Pump/Leistritz Corp., Iron Pump A/S; Parker Hannifin Corp.; Pentair Pump Group Inc. DBA Fairbanks Morse Pump; Rickmeiser GmgH; Seepex GMBH CO KG; Viking Pump Inc., Warren Pumps, LLC; Warren Rupp-Houdaille, Inc.; and Electro-Motive Diesel, the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM). Remanufactured or Aftermarket parts are not acceptable. The Coast Guard does not own the rights to the technical data necessary to evaluate other parts. Period of Performance: It is anticipated that multiple firm, fixed priced requirements contracts will be awarded with one base year and four option years to remanufacture these pumps. Place of Performance: At the prospective contractor's facility. Concerns having the expertise and required capabilities to provide the supplies and services described in the attached specification/Statement of Work are invited to submit complete information discussing the same within 14 calendar days from the day this notice is posted. The information submitted must include a guarantee that the offeror can obtain genuine OEM parts and provide qualified technicians that can remanufacture these pumps. If you intend to submit an offer on this acquisition, please respond by email to Tara.N.Upchurch@uscg.mil. In your response you must include: (a) a positive statement of your intention to submit a proposal for this solicitation as a prime contractor, and (b) evidence of experience in work similar in type and scope to include contract numbers, project titles and dollar amounts, points of contact and telephone numbers. At least two references are requested, but more are desirable. Your response is required by 5 October 2011, 4:00 pm (EST). Inquiries/information received after the established deadline shall NOT be considered for this acquisition. Submission of this data for review shall not impede award of this contract as planned. The Government does NOT intend to pay for information solicited.
