- Solicitation Number: W91YTZ0010056491 PRE-SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT Synopsis: Health Care Acquisition Activity - North intends to award a sole source contract Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 to Metropolitan Medical Laboratory, 1828 E. Locust, Davenport, IA 52803, for Medical Laboratory Testing Services for Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island, IL. The CO has determined that Metropolitan Medical Laboratory is a responsible source capable of providing this service. This is not a formal solicitation. This synopsis is not considered a Request for Quotation or Proposal. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received, the purchase will be awarded without further notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Detailed capabilities must be submitted to the following email address: terry.hembree@us.army.mil, no later than 11:00 A.M., Eastern Standard Time, 26 September 2011.
