- This is a notice of the Government's intent to solicit, negotiate, and award a sole source contract using other than full and open competition procedures under the authority of 13.501(a) and PL104-106 sec 4292 (Clinger-Cohen Act), 'only one source reasonably available, to B&K Medical Systems, Inc., Peabody, MA, for the 1202-3 Flex Focus 700 Surgical Ultrasound System for evaluation of rectal and anal tumors and other treatment planning for soft tissue disease or accumulation of post op fluid collection and fecal incontinence diagnostic information. Performance for this contract will be at Womack Army Medical Center, Fort Bragg, NC 28310. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received will be considered by the Government. A determination not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses are due not later than 2:00 p.m. EST 25 Sep 11 to aaron.l.west@us.army.mil. No telephone responses will be accepted.
