Description

The Veterans Affairs (VA), Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP) has a requirement to procure a Tablet/Capsule Automation (TCA) System. The contractor shall supply a system consisting of an on-line production system, an off-line replenishment system, an automated mail packaging system and the ancillary support equipment. These systems will share the same database but process independently of each other. The system will need to occupy the existing facility footprint, integrate with current operations software, and minimize changes/additions to the current hardware and support equipment. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supplies, support, travel and all other items needed to perform services in connection with this activity. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 333298 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. This solicitation is 100% small business set-aside. The Government anticipates awarding a firm fixed price contract. The TCA system shall perform in accordance with the Statement of Work that will be included in the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received, shall be considered by this agency. Only one award will be issued for this solicitation. Solicitation Package VA-797M-11-RP-0212 shall be posted on Fedbizopps on or about October 3, 2011. No solicitation packages will be mailed. Responses must be concise and be specifically directed to the requirement referenced above. It is the offerors responsibility to monitor Fedbizopps for changes or amendments.
