- Janitorial Services, USDA Forest Service, Republic Ranger Station, Republic, Washington. The purpose of this contract is to obtain Janitorial Services for the USDA Forest Service, Republic Ranger Station located in Republic, Ferry County, Washington. Work includes but is not limited to providing custodial services for three buildings totaling approximately 4,925square feet of floor space. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, tools, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals necessary to perform the work in accordance with the specifications and provisions of the contract. Performance will be conducted in accordance with commercial standards. The work shall be performed any time the office is officially closed. The preferred schedule includes Winter Cleaning Schedule October 1st through April 30th : twice weekly between 4:30 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. either Tuesday evening or Wednesday morning and Thursday evening or Friday morning; OR Wednesday evening or Thursday morning and over the weekend (between 4:30 p.m. Friday evening and 6:00 a.m. Monday morning). Summer Cleaning Schedule May 1st through September 30th three times weekly: between 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Tuesday evening or Wednesday morning, Thursday evening or Friday morning, and over the weekend (between 6:00 p.m. Saturday evening and 6:00 a.m. Monday morning). This can be negotiated. The NAICS code is 561720; Size Standard is $15.0 million. The contract will be a Firm Fixed-price contract with a base year and four option-year periods. The contract period, including the base year and the four option years if exercised, will be from approximately November 1, 2011 through September 30, 2016. This project is totally set aside for small business concerns. All responsible sources meeting the small business size standard may submit an offer which will be considered. An electronic copy of the solicitation will be posted at this site on or about October 7, 2011. No hard copies will be issued.
