- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Medical Center, 7305 North Military Trail intend to negotiate a sole source contract with Solid Waste Authority, 7501 North Jog Road, West Palm Beach, Florida 33412 to provide Annual Waste Disposal Government Assessment Fee for the period October 1, 2011 through September 30, 2012. This annual Government Assessment Fee is a regular charge that applies to our Medical Center each fiscal year. The assessment fee is coverage for the annual tonnage of general waste that we dispose of from our rented 39 Cubic compactor. Anyone wishing to respond to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that they can meet these requirements. Interest parties have until September 30, 2011 to submit their qualification and capabilities in writing. Such qualification and capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. E-mail responses to juanita.lyons@va.gov. Oral communication will not be accepted. If there are no responses to this notice within the time designated, negotiations will commence with Solid Waste Authority.
