- This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, the Government intends to award a sole source contract for services to provide this requirement to Graybar Electric Company, INC. of Missouri, 34 N Meramec Ave., Saint Louis, MO 63105-3844. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The associated NAICS code is 423430 and the small business size standard is 100 employees. The small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program is not applicable. Requirement is as follows: provide secure user-side workstations with fiber optic patch cables for connectivity to the Classified Local Area Network, consisting of a RED Duplex LC Secure to Duplex LC 3 meter 50um OM3. Delivery is requested 25 October. Cables will be delivered 3rd US ARMY, ARCENT at Bldg 1957 Losano Rd, Shaw AFB, SC 29152. The following provisions apply to this acquisition: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial. The offeror must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with its offer. 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items. 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items. 252.232-7003 Electronic Submission of Payment Requests and Receiving Reports. 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties, however, may identify their interest and capability by responding to the requirement. The Government will consider all capability information received prior to the closing date of this synopsis. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract modification based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses shall be made in writing by E-mail, U.S. mail or facsimile to the attention of Deborah Culver using the contract information provided in this synopsis.
