- Description
- The SC will work closely with the components in FMSG to support their individual business functions and IT Systems. These functions include Project Management, Business Processes, Technical Operations, Applications Systems, Quality Assurance and Strategic Planning, as well as HITECH, Program & Financial Systems, Provider Enrollment, Governance, and Data Warehouse Management. In addition to HIGLAS and HITECH, FMSG also supports several legacy systems and other e-Health Initiatives. The SC will provide assistance in several areas of the HIGLAS implementation, development of administrative accounting functionality, operations, maintenance, strategic planning, analytic capabilities, reporting, transparency and general project management activities. The SC shall knowledgeable of and compliant with CMS IT Security Policies and Procedures. In order for FMSG to keep up with the growing number of new technologies, the SC shall assist FMSG by providing technical advising services. These services may include business and technical analytics in the assessment and implementation of new technologies such as storage virtualization, cloud computing, identity management and credentialing services. In support of transparency the SC shall assist FMSG with publishing data to strengthen its accountability to the public and to better use data and information in decision-support activities. The SC shall assist FMSG with data sharing as it applies to sensitive information shared amongst multiple partners, using a wide variety of system platforms, applications and data format, and effective use of technology. The SC shall assist FMSG with assessing current processes and developing new standardized processes as needed. This posting shall satisfy the requirement for all ARRA funded actions to be posted within FedBizOps for at least a period of 3 days.
