- This is not a request for quote; this is a notice of the government's intent to award a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis to ViaSat, Inc. 785 Elkridge Landing Road Suite 200 Linthicum Heights, MD 21090, pursuant to FAR PART 6.302-1(a) (2), only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy the agency's requirements. Army Contracting Command- Aberdeen Proving Ground, intends to procure, on a sole source basis, ViaSat Corporation, a quantity of four (4) Linkway NCC/NMS Platform (P/N 1114001), a quantity of four(4) 1RU Server-Linux, with Linkway Software Bundle tested and installed with setup engineering support: NCC/NMS Software with IP, Geo-redundancy, Maritime License(P/N 1115819), and a quantity of nine (9) Linkway S2 Crypto Modem with Transec (LWS2) (P/N 1085425). This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement by the closing date and time by e-mail to david.greaves@us.army.mil. A determination by the Government not to compete the contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
