Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, W911SD-11-T-0414, is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-53. The NAICS code for this requirement is 334511, and the small business standard is 750 Employees. ITEM NO 0001: Two (2) Each Velodyne HDL-32E LIDAR Sensors or two (2) each equal LIDAR Laser Radar that meets or exceeds the attached salient characteristics. Delivery information: No later than 60 days after effective date of contract award. F.O.B. Destination: United States Military Academy Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Network Science Center Thayer Hall Building 601 West Point, NY 10996 The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Award will be made to a single quoter who is deemed responsible in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), whose quote conforms to the solicitation requirements, and whose quote, judged by an overall assessment of the evaluation criteria and other considerations specified in this solicitation, represents the Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable quote that complies with the terms and conditions of this solicitation. The evaluation process will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. To be considered technically acceptable, the quote shall contain the same or equal products, as defined in the salient characteristics attachment. Quoters are to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3 Alt I, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, Alternate I, with its quote. The Clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The Clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The following additional FAR clauses cited in the Clause are applicable to this acquisition: 52.204-10, 52.209-6, 52.219-6, 52.219-28, 52.222-3, 52.222-19, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-36, 52.222-50, 52.223-18, 52.225-3 Alt II, 52.225-13, and 52.232-33. The Clause at 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
