Description
THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICATION for commerical items and installation of for Marine Corps Logistic Base Albany, Ga in accordance with the attached statement of work and the items listed below. This Combined synopsis/solicicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this solicitation. This announcement constitutes the only publication; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. All responsible sources may submit a response, which if timely received must be considered by the agency. The solicitation number M6700111Q00020 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-53 and DFAR Change Notice 20110629. This proposed acquisition is an unrestrictive procurement. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 517110. This solicitation is a 100% small business set aside. The small business size standard for NAICS code 517110 is 1,500 employees. The Government intends to issue a single award to the lowest price technically acceptable offeror considering the following factors: Price, Delivery and Technical Acceptability. A proposal will be determined technically acceptable when conforming to the attached statement of work. Delivery may not exceed 30 days after date of contract. LINE ITEM 0001 Bldg. 1240: Provide labor and material to install a 100 pr cable PE22 aerial cable from Pole P5-18 and a 12 strand SM fiber cable from bldg 1231 comm. room into training room in Bay 3 in Building 1240. The new copper cable will be spliced to existing cables at the pole location. The new fiber cable will terminate in 1231. A new rack mounted fiber box will be provided for termination of the fiber cable in bldg 1231. In bldg. 1240, a new backboard will be placed inside the building for placement of the cables. A 100 pr protector will be placed for termination of the copper cable. A wall mounted fiber box will be placed for the termination of the fiber cable. All stand of the fiber cable will be terminating with ST connectors. LINE ITEM 0002 Bldg. 1330: Provide labor and material to install a 24 strand SM fiber cable from bldg 1231 comm. room to Bldg 1330. The fiber cable will follow an existing route between the two locations. New rack mounted fiber boxes will be placed in both locations for termination of the fiber cable. All stands of the fiber cable will terminate with ST type connectors. LINE ITEM 0003 Bldg. 2227: Provide and install a 25 pr PE22 direct buried copper cable from the Manhole 26-7 to the covered shed in front of building 2227. The cable will be placed in existing conduit. A new backboard will be placed at the shed location for placement of a 25 pr protector. The cable will terminate onto the protector. LINE ITEM 0004 Bldg. 5592: Provide labor and material to install a 25 pr copper cable from MH 8-4-1to bldg 5592. From the existing manhole 8-4-1 a new 4 conduit will be directional bored between the manhole and the building. At the corner of the bldg.5592 a new pull box will be placed. New conduit will be place up the wall for entrance into the building. A new back board will be placed. A 25pr protector will be mounted for termination of the 25pr cable. At the manhole, the 25pr cable will be spliced to existing cable. A new splice case will be provided. LINE ITEM 0005 Bldg. 5591: Provide labor and material to install a 25 pr copper cable from MH 8-4-1 to Bldg 5591. The cable will route from the MH 8-4-1 in the new conduit placed for cable path into bldg 5592. At the new pull box at the corner of 5592, a new 4 conduit will be directional bored to the existing demar at bldg 5592. The cable will route into the building using the existing pathway. A new back board will be placed. A 25pr protector will be mounted for termination of the 25pr cable. At the manhole, the 25pr cable will be spliced to existing cable and place in the splice case with the cable for 5592.LINE ITEM 0006 Bldg. 7360: Provide labor and material to install a 25 pr copper cable from MH 12-4-1 to bldg 7360. From the existing manhole 12-4-1 a new 4 conduit will be directional bored between the manhole and the building. A new pull box will be placed at the corner of the building. New conduit will be place up the wall for entrance into the building. A new back board will be placed. A 25pr protector will be mounted for termination of the 25pr cable. At the manhole, the 25pr cable will be spliced to existing cable. A new splice case will be provided.
