- Request for Information The Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Research and Development is conducting market research to determine the most appropriate contract line item number (CLIN) structure to be used in conjunction with its acquisition of accreditation services for the VA's Human Research Protection Program. A statement of work (SOW) for these services has been attached to this notice. Based on that SOW we are inviting industry to respond with comment and recommendations for CLIN structure to be included with the acquisition. This RFI is a market research tool used to aid in acquisition strategy planning. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future solicitation, if one is issued. The North American Industry Classification System (NACIS) code to be used for this procurement is 541990, Other Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services, with a size standard of $7.0 million in dollars. Your submission must be clear, concise, complete, and be submitted by 3PM EST, October 11, 2011 via email to paula.stankovic@va.gov.
