- The work includes providing snow removal, sanding and street sweeping services at the Naval Computer and Telecommunications Area Master Station Atlantic Detachment Cutler, Maine. ALL PROSPECTIVE CONTRACTORS MUST REGISTER IN THE CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION DATABASE PRIOR TO AWARD OF A CONTRACT. QUOTERS ARE FURTHER ADVISED THAT FAILURE TO REGISTER IN THE DOD CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION DATABASE MAY RENDER YOUR FIRM INELIGIBLE FOR AWARD. Registration can be accomplished on www.ccr.gov. As per FAR 52.219-6 “ NOTICE OF TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET A SIDE, offers or quotations under this acquisition are solicited from small business concerns only. Offers that are not from a small business shall not be considered and shall be rejected. Replies to this notice are requested from NAICS 562998, All Other Miscellaneous Waste Management Services. All quotes received from all responsible sources shall be considered. The official access to the solicitation will be available on the internet at www.neco.navy.mil on or about 17 OCT 11. Notification of any changes to this solicitation (amendments) shall be made only on the Internet and the official plan holder ™s list will be maintained on, and can be printed from the Internet site. All prospective bidders must register as plan holders on the Internet NECO website for this project. Each company must indicate its name, address, phone number, and e-mail address; identify whether the firm is a prime, sub or supplier and indicate whether firm is an Emerging Small Business, Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, Woman-Owned Business or Large Business. It is therefore, the contractor ™s responsibility to check the above listed address daily for any posted changes to the solicitation ™s plans and specifications. This solicitation will be in electronic format only and all documents will be provided in Adobe Acrobat (.PDF) files. A free copy of the Acrobat reader is required to read the.PDF files and can be downloaded directly from the adobe website. PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS ARE NOT AVAILABLE IN THE CONTRACTS OFFICE.
