Description

Signed Sole Source Justification for View Systems Inc. NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE IAW FAR 6.305(a): The 673rd Contracting Squadron, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska has awarded a sole source purchase order to VIEW SYSTEMS INC. VIEW SYSTEMS INC. will be providing a multi-mission video system worn by forward operators to be utilized during real-world emergency response operations. This is a sole source purchase due to the encryption feature, modular design, and transferability to robotic vehicles and K-9 units. This purchase has been made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 13.501. The award date was 22 Sep 2011. The closing date for this Notice is 7 Oct 2011 at 12:00 PM Alaskan Standard Time.
