Description

SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS For ARMY POWER PROJECTION PROGRAM (AP3), GLOBAL FORCE LAYDOWN (GFL), ARMY EXPEDITIONARY OPERATIONS AND EMERGENT MISSION STUDIES & ANALYSES The Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command is conducting market research on identifying sources who are capable of providing analytical and technical support to the AP3, GFL, Army Expeditionary (Intermodal) Operations and other emerging mobility and transportation missions. This synopsis seeks identification of those sources that possess the capability or work experience with the elements below: AP3, GFL and Army expeditionary operations. Army staff and force structure. Army mobility, traffic management and movement control functions to include understanding of commercial transportation capabilities. Interested sources should provide a narrative (written) response, no more than 2 pages in length, to dominic.curcuru@us.army.mil not later than 12:00 noon (CDT) on 14 Oct 2011. All submitted information becomes property of the Government and will not be returned. This synopsis is for informational purposes only (FAR 52.215-3). The Government does not intend to issue drawings, specifications or solicitation for this effort. Respectfully, all submitted information will be handled IAW applicable markings and regulations. Be advised that this request does not constitute an obligation upon the Government to pursue any follow-on contract action, in part or whole, with current or potential vendors. Questions may be submitted in writing (email) to the above not later than close of business (1600hrs/CDT) on 11 Oct 2011. The Government reserves the right to answer questions on an individual basis only.
