- Special notice of intent to award to Magnolia Americas, Inc., 1540 Broadway, 14th Floor, New York, NY 10036. The Defense Logistics Agency Information Service requires a renewal of Magnolia Enterprise Edition Pro software maintenance. Period of Performance required is 12 months. Previous contract ended on September 30, 2011. Specifications are as follows: ITEM DESCRIPTION QTY 0001 Magnolia Enterprise Edition Pro, 2 ea If there are any other firms who can satisfy this requirement, please submit a proposal by 4:00 pm ET, Wednesday, October, 12, 2011. Submit written questions regarding this acquisition to amanda.geissler@dla.mil no later than Tuesday, October 11, 2011, at 9 a.m. ET. Please place "SP4707-12-Q-0001" in the subject line of your e-mail message. Questions received after Tuesday, October 11, 2011, at 9 a.m. ET, WILL NOT be answered. No phone calls please, email questions. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 6.302-1, there is "only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." The Magnolia Content Management System (CMS) has been integrated into the DOD EMALL system and maintenance support is required to obtain software updates, patches, security-related fixes, technical support for issues and to enable the CMS Author application. These elements are critical to maintain DOD EMALL system applications, troubleshoot application issues, develop application enhancements or new applications, implement security fixes that are recommended and/or required by Magnolia, DISA, DLA or other cognizant security authorities, and to maintain the right to run the CMS Author application. If the Magnolia CMS maintenance is not renewed then we will not be able to obtain software updates, patches, security-related fixes, technical support for issues and the CMS Author application will not operate. This requirement is pending the availability of FY 12 funds.
