- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Solicitation N62742-12-T-6801 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The proposed contract action is for a brand name only. In accordance with FAR 5.102(a)(6), the approved J & A is attached. The associated NAICS code is 336112-Light Truck and Utility Vehicle Manufacturing. This RFQ is issued as a commercial item procurement using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR part 13) and is issued in anticipation of a firm fixed price contract for 2 EA of Mitsubishi Pajero (Sport Utility Vehicle). The required items and descriptions are as follows: - CLIN 0001: Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Utility Vehicle, Qty = 2 CLIN 0002: Delivery charges to U.S. Embassy, Vientiane, Lao, Qty = 2 CLIN 0003: Daily storage charges for 2 vehicles, Qty = 90 days (estimated) No paper copies of this solicitation will be provided. The Government intends to award an order, resulting from this solicitation, to the responsible offeror whose offer is the Lowest Responsive and Responsible Offer. All questions are due by 15:30 on 17 October, 2011(Thailand Time) and can be submitted by email. All quotes are due by 15:30 on 7 November, 2011 (Thailand Time) and can be submitted via email.
