Description
The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO) Scott AFB IL will procure Service Desk incident management and customer service operations with qualified contractor personnel on a 24x7 basis and provide remedial and technical support to users of SMC Ogden computer systems. Also, to acquire a Windows technical support capability for SMC Ogden specifically, Admin LAN level II and Windows server environment. Services include providing the customers with a single point of contact for troubleshooting and resolution for incidents associated with data networks, computer configurations, and application software assigned to the SMC. In-depth knowledge of mainframe operating systems, mid-tier operating systems, Windows server systems, personal computer (PC) and web applications are required. Service Desk technicians must answer customer calls in such a manner as to determine the nature of the incident and provide on-the-spot resolution or assign the incident to the next level of support via the SMC Ogden Trouble Management System (TMS); document each call, and maintain visibility of all referred calls; and verify with the customer that the incident has been resolved. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.206, the Government intends for this acquisition to be offered for competition limited to eligible Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Concerns. This procurement will be 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Concerns. The period of performance will be one year from contract award with four (4) one-year options. The National American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541512. The solicitation and all related documents will be posted at this site. Instructions for submitting questions and proposals will be given at the time the solicitation is released. The resulting award will be Lowest Price Technically Acceptable. If at any time the Government determines that the requested services are no longer required, the Government reserves the right to not make an award. The Government also reserves the right to award without discussions. Proposals will be due after Request for Proposal (RFP) release date. All responses from responsible Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Concerns will be considered for evaluation and award of the contract. Oral communications are not acceptable.
