- Wage Determination, UT100037 Hill Air Force Base Facility Design Standard, dated 14 April 2011 Drawings for Project, RPR PAA Production Line, Building 238, Hill AFB, UT Project Specifications, RPR PAA Production Line, Building 238, Hill AFB, UT Solicitation, FA8201-12-B-0001, RPR PAA Production Line, Building 238, Hill AFB, UT NOTICE: This solicitation was previously synopsized under a different solicitation number, FA8201-11-C-0046, but is now renumbered to FA8201-12-B-0001. This project is for the construction to enclose install/refurbish a phosphoric acid anodize (PAA) production line in building 238, Hill Air Force Base, Utah. The contractor will need to provide all supplies, materials, tools, equipment and labor to install and refurbish a PAA production line for the anodizing of aluminum aircraft parts and for the construction to enclose the process areas of the PAA production line area. Work must include the repair of the HVAC and installation of walls, ceiling, lighting, smoke dampers, fire protection, electrical, diffusers, and misc. Asbestos/LBP inspection must be completed prior to starting this project. Any asbestos/LBP removal shall be accomplished by a certified asbestos/LBP contractor. Funds are presently not available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the government cancels this solicitation, the government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs. NOTE: This is a design-bid-build; design was accomplished by Case, Lowe & Hart Inc., in accordance with FAR subpart 36.209 no contractor for the construction of a project shall be awarded to the firm that designed the project or its subsidiaries or affiliates. Companies with this status shall not submit a proposal. NOTICE TO OFFERORS Payment and performance bonds are required. 20% bid bonding is required. PRE-BID SITE VISIT: A site visit will be conducted on 20 October 2011 at 09:00 am MST. We will be meeting at the South West end of building 238, Hill Air Force Base, Utah. NOTE: If you plan to attend the site visit, the bid opening, or are hand carrying a bid to the bid opening officer and you do not have a badge to get on the base, please ensure that you have enough time to process through security. To eliminate delays at security, make advance arrangements to get on base with the Contracting Negotiator by 18 October 2011, 11:00 am MST via e-mail to emily.pogue@hill.af.mil and frank.volk@hill.af.mil. In the e-mail, please include the company name and name of the person(s) that will be coming on base along with the last four digits of their SSN. Site visit will be limited to three (3) personnel per company. If you plan to attend the site visit and have access to the base, notice needs to be sent to the Contract Negotiators via e-mail at emily.pogue@hill.af.mil and frank.volk@hill.af.mil. Make sure you have read the solicitation and attachments for answers to questions before submitting. Questions by contractors will not be accepted after 31 October 2011, 11:00 am MST. Bid Opening will be held at Building 1289, Hill Air Force Base, Utah, on the West side of the building in the downstairs conference room. Limited to two (2) personnel per company.
