- (Subject Continued) 256-955-8601 PRON: AX1C0348AX. The Government proposes to acquire on a three-year Indefinite Delivery Infinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract a quantity of 152 each minimum to 300 each maximum of a TRAILER, GROUND HAND, NSN: 1740-01-542-1099, Part Number: 6800-000-05 applicable to the BK-CH-47 (CHINOOK) Weapon system. Forecasted quantities are: 1st, 152 each, 2nd year, 74 each, 3rd Year, 74 each, with delivery to Red River Army Depot, TX. 75507-5000. Production lead time without First Article Testing is 152 each 228 days after contract award (DACA). This item is restricted to MCT INDUSTRIES, INC., Cage Code 2W888. The data needed to acquire this part competitively is not physically available, it cannot be obtained economically, nor is it possible it draft adequate specifications or any other adequate, economical description of the material for a competitive solicitation. Firms that recognize and con produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to complete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone,army.mil/cmo/ and looking under Qualification Procedures for Aviation Requirements. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition.
