- Proposed solicitation, SPM7M212R0004 is for NSN 4810-01-079-1731, a Parts Kit, Valve. Solicitation will be for a total quantity of 69 each to be shipped to OK 73145-000, FOB destination, inspection and acceptance at destination, to be delivered in 365 days on a firm fixed price contract. Item is manufactured by Meggitt (North Hollywood) (79318) part number 43471. Solicitation is unrestricted. This acquisition is for supplies for which the government does not possess complete, unrestricted technical data, therefore the government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under authority of 10 USC 2304c(1). All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered. Based on market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. One or more of the items under this acquisition may be subject to Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the United States by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979. All offers shall be in the English language an in U.S. Dollars. All interested suppliers may submit an offer. This solicitation will be made available on its issue date of 11/07/11, at HTTPS://WWW.DIBBS.BSM.DLA.MIL/. PLEASE NOTE: The solicitation will not be available until the issue date. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. A written offer is required and is to be returned to the bid room at Defense Supply Center Columbus, PO Box 3990, Columbus, OH 43218-3990, or can be faxed to 614-692-4275. Submission of proposal by electronic commerce (e-mail) is allowed. E-mailed proposals shall not be transmitted directly to the contracting officer. Submitt e-mailed proposals to the Bid and Abstract Room at: ContractorProposalDLALandandMaritime@dla.mil. Emailed proposals cannot exceed 15 MB. NO OFFERS SHOULD BE EMAILED OR FAXED TO THE BUYER. Offerors are required to complete an Online Representations and Certification Application (ORCA) as soon as possible since this requirement is now appearing in solicitations.
