- The VISN 6 Network Contracting Activity (NCA) on behalf of the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Asheville, NC, is conducting market research through this sources sought notice to seek sources for name brand or equal for an Integrated Electrophysiology (EP) System by St. Jude's that incorporates the functions of cardiac electrophysiological mapping, recording, and ablation. The following salient characteristics are required: 1.The EP equipment shall be an all-in-one, turnkey solution that provides the functions of cardiac mapping, data recording, and the capabilities of ablation in an integrated system. 2The system should be compatible with existing equipment in the Cath Lab and Interventional radiology suite, and compatible with future equipment or upgrades. That equipment is ¦ ¦ ¦. (specify each piece of equipment with make and model description) 3The system should be portable to permit easy shared use between the two procedure rooms. 4The system should interface with VA's VISTA and CPRS systems to facilitate transfer of patient demographics, and storage of electrophysiology data in the Electronic Medical Record (CPRS). 5The system should include a printer. 6The contractor should provide applications training that are sufficient for initial and follow-up needs. 7The contractor shall provide technical support for a minimum of 1 year from the time of completing the first patient exam. We are interested in a lease/rent contract with the option to purchase at a future time. The NAICS code is 334510 and the Classification code is 6515. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the Government. This is a sources sought notice only. This is not a solicitation and does not obligate the Government to issue a solicitation. The information submitted will be reviewed by the Government technical representatives for considering future requirements. Responses to this notice should include the following: name and address, of the company, business size, and any other pertinent information that demonstrates firm's ability to meet the above requirement.
