- Description
- Contractor shall furnish all labor, material, equipment, transportation, disposal, and supervision necessary for repair of water intrusion damage to a historic residential quarters building at U.S. Coast Station New York, Staten Island, NY. The work includes removing built-up roofing, providing new TPO roofing and removing rotted portico millwork, providing new PVC millwork, removing lintels jack arches and providing new galvanized steel angle lintels, copper flashing and new brick jack arches, and repointing brickwork. The anticipated construction time is 125 days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Site work/construction will start in the Spring of 2012. The estimated cost range of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. Bid, payment and performance bonds will be required. The applicable NAICS code is 236118, with a size standard $33.5 million. Solicitation packages will be available on or about 11/15/2011. The tentative date set for bid opening is 15 December 2011 at 2:00 p.m. This acquisition is issued pursuant to FAR Part 14, and in accordance with FAR Part 19.5 is 100% set-aside for Small Business (SB) concerns.
