Description
NOTICE OF INTENT Lease Space for the United States Government Ashland, Wisconsin Requirement: The General Services Administration, hereinafter referred to as the Government, intends to extend the lease terms for a multi-agency lease by three years, one-year firm. The Government presently occupies 21,189 rentable square feet at 2800 East Front Street, Ashland, Wisconsin, (GS-05B-16499), and the lease is currently set to expire on January 8, 2012. The Government has determined for mission-related and economic reasons that it is advantageous to extend this existing lease; however the Government will entertain all offers for competitiveness. Any offered space must meet Government requirements for Fire Safety and Handicapped Accessibility. Specific requirements will be taken into consideration for the procurement of this lease. Please note that the Government seeks existing commercial space and will only consider new construction as a last resort. In addition, move costs will be considered with all solicitations as will the additional cost of tenant improvements. The Government will not use tenant brokers to represent it in lease negotiations or any real estate transactions related to this procurement. Brokers or agents may represent prospective landlord but any properties or proposals submitted by brokers/agents must be accompanied by written evidence they are authorized to represent the building's ownership. Delineated Area: Ashland, Wisconsin Lease Term/Occupancy: Three years, one-year firm. Occupancy by January 8, 2012. Expressions of interest must be received no later than November 7, 2011 and include the following: 1) Building name and Address, 2) BOMA Office Area Square feet and BOMA Office Area Rate Per Square Foot.
