- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Benefits Administration, 1 VA Center, Augusta, Maine has a requirement for Design-Build Construction Services for home renovations as part of a Vocational Rehabilitation Services Independent Living Program. Services to include: Bathroom Renovations; Provide/Install Grab Bars; Entryway Demo and Repair; Provide/Install Wheelchair Ramp. THIS ACQUISITION IS A COMPETITIVE, 100% SERVICE-DISABLED, VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB) SET-ASIDE. SDVOSB must be CVE certified and provide proof of certification with proposal. The applicable NAICS code is 236118 with a size standard of $33.5 million. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Contract period is estimated to be 60 calendar days from Notice to Proceed. Pre-Proposal meeting to be held October 27, 2011, 11:30 a.m. Contact kathy.allen@va.gov if interested in attending pre-proposal meeting. Actual site visit to be scheduled for mid-November.
