- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the request for quote for the required service under RFQ N00189-12-T-0007. A subsequent solicitation document will not be issued. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-25 and DFARS Change Notice 20080513. FISC Norfolk Contracting Department Norfolk Office intends to purchase the following service (s): Provide warehouse for COMNAVSURFLANT HQTRS use for storage of IT, medical, and physical security equipment. Support other requirements as required. Require approx 1800 Sq Ft, office within warehouse and pallet racks. It must be climate controlled (Heat/AC) required for electronic sensitive equipment and an alarm system for security. Space cannot be a sub section of a larger warehouse space, access must be controlled by CNSL personnel only. Warehouse must be available 24/7 for any and all storage requirements. The warehouse location would be within a 10 miles radius from NSA, located at 1430 Mitscher Avenue, Norfolk Virginia 23551 in order to increase productivity. The period of performance is 11/01/2011 through 10/30/2012.
