- Description
- The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) Pacific intends to procure on a Full and Open Competition basis, a Firm-Fixed Contract for the lease and maintenance of nine (9) touring style long-haul buses used to support students enrolled within Japan District. A Performance Work Statement will be included in Request for Proposal (RFP) Number HE1260-12-R-0001. The initial period of performance is from 01 March 2012 through 28 February 2013 with four one-year option periods. The RFP will be posted in the Federal Business Opportunities website on or about 3 November 2011 to close 30 days after issue date. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency by the RFP closing date. Proposals shall be submitted as specified in the RFP. Award will be made in accordance with FAR Part 12 and 13.106-2. The Department of Defense requires all contractors to register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to receive any contract award or payment. The CCR website is: http://www.ccr.gov. Inquiries may be submitted in writing via e-mail to Miyoko.hokama@pac.dodea.edu. This is strictly a Synopsis to inform industry about an upcoming requirement. The government will not respond to any inquiries received prior to the issuance of the solicitation and no proposals will be accepted based on this pre-solicitation notice. However, please feel free to add your company's information to the Interested Vendors List.
