- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED.This requirement is being issued as Request for Proposal (RFP) No. P12PS10145. The FAR clauses and provisions enclosed within are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-35. FAR clauses and provisions are available through Internet access at www.acqnet.gov/far. This solicitation is 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 327320. The small business size standard is 500 employees. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded for these Commercial Items.This acquisition is for the supply and delivery of 300 cubic yards of Redi-Mix Concrete.OVERVIEWConcrete redi-mix will be 3000 psi minimum with fiber additive delivered to areas within Lake Meredith National Recreation Area located near Sanford, Texas in whatever slump the NPS requests. Quantities requested will be delivered upon demand in 5 to 15 cubic yard quantities. This redi-mix concrete must be delivered usually within 20 - 48 hours of placing the order. Delivery will be at Lake Meredith National Recreation Area (LAMR), 100 Sanford Yake Rd, Sanford, TX. Park Headquarters is located at 419 East Broadway, Fritch, Texas 79036. FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items is applicable. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: 1.Price2.Past Performance - durability of product, timeliness in delivery, technical support and other Considerations. Whereas price is more important than past performance. A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer, mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party. Before the offer's specified expiration time, the Government may accept an offer (or part of an offer), whether or not there are negotiations after its receipt, unless a written notice of withdrawal is received before award. Offerors wishing to respond to this RFQ should provide the office with the following: 1. Offeror schedule pricing shall be provided on plain bond paper with company identification clearly visible.
