- The procurement will be for electrical and mechanical support services for the retrofit and repairs of a Savage Manufacturing and Sales, Inc., 1000 Ton, Traveling Gantry Shaft Straightening Press built in 1984, model TSF-1000. The manufacture's serial number is 1593-2.; covering cost of all parts, labor and equipment for subject procurement action. Solicitation is estimated to be released on November 15, 2011, at which time all Specifications and solicitation documents will be released. This procurement will be 100% Total Small Business Set aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be evaluated by the agency. This solicitation will be issued electronically, therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Upon release of the solicitation, it will be available on the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) at https://acquisition.army.mil and will be listed under Watervliet Arsenal. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above Internet address in order to obtain any amendments that may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt of offers may render your offer nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
