- Description
- 1. The Department of the Army, Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Mission Contracting Office (MCO), Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM), Washington intends to solicit proposals for a contractor to provide services to install Category 5 and/or Category 5e computer network drops at Madigan Army Medical Center (MAMC), Tacoma WA and its associated clinics located on JBLM. A complete performance work statement (PWS) will be included in the solicitation. The request for proposals (RFP) number is W911S8-11-R-0017. 2. The solicitation will result in the award of a single contract. The resulting contract will be a firm-fixed-price requirements contract. The applicable NAICS code is 238210 - Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors, and the small business size standard is $14.0 Million. This procurement will be set-side 100% for small business. 3. The anticipated contract period is a base period 01 April 2012 - 31 March 2013 plus four (4) one-year option periods. 4. Telephonic requests for the solicitation will not be honored. When issued, the solicitation will be available via the FedBizOpps website, http://www.fbo.gov/ and the solicitation will also be posted on the Joint Base Lewis-McChord Mission and Installation Contracting website, http://www.lewis.army.mil/doc/, under Solicitations. The tentative solicitation issue date is 02 December 2011 and the anticipated closing date is 02 January 2011. Interested offerors are advised to consult the actual solicitation for final dates and times. 5. Offers from all capable and responsible sources will be considered. Firms offering a response to this notice should ensure that they are registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database http://www.ccr.gov/ and ensure that the applicable NAICS code 238210 is included in the CCR profile prior to submission of proposals. 6.
