- PLEASE NOTE: This synopsis was originally advertized as W912DW-11-R-0066. The solicitation number is revised to concur with the current fiscal year (It is now W912DW-12-R-0003.) The Seattle District Corps of Engineers has a phased requirement for the JBLM Replace Fuel Storage Storage and Distribution Facilities Project. Phasing is established to maintain aircraft operational capability and continual access to Air Force facilities during construction. This project includes Demolition of the POL Ops building, demolition of the Phillips System including piping, 2500 BBL storage tank and berms, Hydrant Fuel Pits, demolition of the Bulk Storage and Control Building. New work includes new Hydrant Fuel Pits, new POL Ops Building, and a new Bulk Fuels Pump House and facilities. The magnitude of construction is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000 (DFAR 236.204), and the project completion period is estimated at 400 calendar days. The NAICS code for this project is 237120 with a small business size standard of $33.5M. The solicitation will be a One Phase Combined Design-Bid-Build, Best Value Procurement conducted in accordance with procedures outlined in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15. The solicitation will be a Request for Proposals (RFP), and one firm-fixed-price contract will be negotiated as a result. On or about 28 October 2011, the solicitation documents for this project will be available via the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at https://www.fbo.gov/ under solicitation number W912DW-12-R-0003.
