Description
The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center “ Puget Sound, in support of Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS/IMF), Bremerton, WA intends to secure from a single source, Bus Services for the transportation of 175 to 200 persons to be picked up at IMF Silverdale, Washington with a final destination of either SEATAC International Airport or McChord AFB. A reverse run may be required to pick up 175 to 200 personnel at SEATAC/McChord AFB with a destination of IMF Silverdale. This requirement is on an as needed basis with a minimum of 2-runs per year with a maximum of per 20-runs per year. Carriers are required to be on the approved list located at http://www.defensetravel.dod.mil/Docs/BusAgreementPOCs.pdf. The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The commercial solicitation will be issued on or about 1 November 2011 with a closing date of 15 November 2011. This requirement is to be solicited using commercial, simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13.5 utilizing Low Price Technically Acceptable evaluation factors resulting in award of a Firm-Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity type contract. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: https://www.neco.navy.mil. Complete specifications to be included in the solicitation. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. Prospective offerors should register themselves on the NECO website. No telephone or FAX requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or Faxed. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation, which shall be considered by NAVSUP FLC-PS.
