These tests are mandatory annually to maintain the Laboratory's accreditation. Failure to acquire these forensic tests will impact the entire Lab efficiency and readiness to all the Armed Forces as well as the War on Terrorism. The authority for this non-competitive award is FAR Part 6.302-1. Interested concerns may identify their interest and submit a capability statement that demonstrates their ability to provide the required equipment. This notice is NOT a request for competitive proposals/quotes. No solicitation is available; therefore, request for such document will be considered invalid response. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the government. Inquiries must be in writing and must reference Requirement No. 0010104607 All questions should be directed to Trung Giang, Contract Specialist, trung.k.giang@us.army.mil. Response due date is Thursday, 3 November 2011. If no affirmative responses are received by 2:00 pm on 3 November 2011, the Contracting Officer will proceed to issue a contract with Collaborative Testing Services, Inc.
