Description
The following synopsis is revised to add the purchase of P/N 901-370-373-101 (SLIM Multi Function Display), quantity three, as a part of this effort. The anticipated procurement of these three additional UUTs will be accomplished via modification to the existing delivery order (which was for the first thirty-five UUTs identified below), awarded on 31 March 2010. The original synopsis is hereby deleted and replaced with the following: NAVAIR NAWCAD Lakehurst intends to enter into a sole source delivery order with the Bell-Boeing JPO (BBJPO) for the procurement of the manufacture of thirty-six Units Under Test (UUT's) in support of Test Program Set (TPS) and Operational Test Program Set (OTPS) development for the Consolidated Automated Support System (CASS) and Reconfigurable Transportable Consolidated Automated Support System (RTCASS). These UUT's will be utilized to perform TPS fault insertion and diagnostic program development for existing programs, updates, and Engineering Change Proposals (ECP's) as identified by the V-22 Program Office. BBJPO, the designer, developer, and integrator of the V-22 Aircraft Weapons System, is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the V-22 aircraft and remains the only business entity that has all the required proprietary rights for the V-22 aircraft itself as well as the proprietary rights and non disclosure agreements with the suppliers of the aircraft components that are necessary to manufacture these UUT's within the required time frame of this requirement to meet the fleet requirements. The Government intends to procure this equipment under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Section 6.302-1. isted. The notice now reflects the CORRECT quantities for a total of 106 items, not 99. All other information remains unchanged.
