- Modification 01: This is a modification to the subject solicitation posted in FedBizOpps on May 11, 2011. This modification is issued to replace the solicitation availability date, point of contact number and solicitation number. The information pertaining to NEC Fiber Cable IT Requirement is hereby deleted and replaced with the following information contained in this amendment. Solicitation number is changed from W91248-11-R-0003 to W91248-12-R-0001. Resulting solicitation will solicit Request for Proposals (RFP) for a contract to install, remove, and replace the following telecommunications systems: intra building buried and/or aerial copper or fiber cables, splice cases, backboards, terminals, connector blocks, patch panels, jumpers, connectors, patch cords, telephone sets, modems, electronic key systems and associated components, channel banks, Light Interface Units (LIU's), premise wire, jacks, and face plates with associated terminations; Install premise wiring for Secret Internet Protocol Network (SIPRNET) in protected distribution systems; Provide connectivity from buildings' Light Interface Units to customer office areas by installing fiber optic cables or CAT 5E/6 cooper cables; Install, test, troubleshoot, maintain, remove, and replace, relocate, and/or repair PABX's and other multiplex equipment, analog single-line telephones, cooper cable, fiber cable, multi-line analog telephones, digital telephones, e.g. ISDN and/or DSL lines, miscellaneous radio, fire alarms, intrusion alarms, and computer data circuits. Contract type will be firm fixed price. The magnitude of the project is estimated to between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. This acquisition is Set- Aside for 8(a) firms located within the states of Kentucky and Tennessee and HUBZone Business Concerns. NACIS is Major 237130/ $33.5 Million and minor 811213/$10.0 Million. Davis Bacon and or Service Contract Wage Decision Act apply.
