- combined RFP for Marion Campus and Fort Wayne Campus This amendment extends the time and date for receipt of offers to November 30, 2011 at 12:00 noon EST. Site visits have been added and other dates have been extended consistent with the revised closing date. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged. Additional information regarding this opportunity, including the RFP is available on the project websites: http://www.va.gov/assetmanagement/burr/marionIN/index.asp http://www.va.gov/assetmanagement/burr/fortWayne/index.asp The VA Building Utilization Review and Repurposing Initiative (BURR) has identified several parcels located in Fort Wayne, Indiana and Marion, Indiana for long term ground lease. This procurement is for two Enhanced-Use Lease (EUL) opportunities at two Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) sites VA Northern Indiana Health Care System Marion Campus, 1700 East 38th Street, Marion, Indiana and the Fort Wayne Campus2121 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne, IN 46805. The Marion project site has contains the following underutilized buildings which are proposed for repurposing: Buildings 7 (24,116 GSF), 10 (26,542 GSF), 11 (26,124 GSF), and 18 (19,058 GSF); Building 60 (18,126 GSF); and Building 122 (37,135 GSF) respectively and two land parcels (approximately 3.25 and 3.5 acres respectively). The Fort Wayne project site has one land parcel of approximately 4 acres for development. The VA objective for this RFP is to receive proposals from Offerors to develop both EUL sites to provide permanent supportive housing for homeless Veterans and Veterans at risk of homelessness under two long-term ground lease agreements with VA for up to 75 years. In return for a long-term lease of the property, the selected Offeror will provide fair consideration to VA.
