Description

Presolicitation notice for a Multiple Award IDIQ Contract for LEC (Local Exchange Carrier) telecommunication voice and data services, Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 1 all sites. The period of performance will be from 01/01/2012 through 12/31/2012 for a base year, with four (4) one (1) year options at the discretion of the VA Medical Center. The applicable NAICS code is 517110 and the size standard is 1,500 employees. Award will be based on the best value to the Government. Evaluation factors include: technical capabilities, past performance, and price. This solicitation is set aside for Small Businesses with Veteran Preference. The solicitation package will be available on or about 11/14/2011. All relevant solicitation documents may be accessed for download on the date of the issue at the following website: www.fbo.gov. Any amendments to the solicitation will be posted solely to the website. It is the responsibility of the offeror to verify the number of amendments issued. Any interested vendor must be registered in CCR as a Small Business under NAICS code 517110. Any interested vendor claiming to be a Veteran Owned Small Business or a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business must be certified in Vet Biz in order to be eligible for Veteran Preference.
