Description
Sources sought for the Accelerated Mission Test (AMT) Services for ASC/WNW Propulsion Division at facility TBD. This sources sought is issued solely for information, planning purposes, and market research in accordance with FAR Part 10. This sources sought is seeking interest from businesses capable and interested in performing Accelerated Mission Test (AMT) Services for the ASC/WNW Propulsion Division. All responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for the future acquisition. No Award will be made from this sources sought. A solicitation might be available early 2012; therefore, do not request a copy of a solicitation at this time. The United States Air Force is not seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. The ASC/WNW, Propulsion Division is seeking potential sources that are capable of performing a 2000+ hour Accelerated Mission Test (AMT)of the Joint Primary Aircraft Training System (JPATS) Pratt &Whitney Canada PT6A-68 engine. All interested firms shall be capable of: • Planning for and conducting the PT6A-68 AMT; to include data analysis and documenting test results • Providing test facilities, instrumentation, fuel, support equipment, personnel, etc. required to conduct the AMT; to include facility access to Government employees • Performing and documenting an Analytical Condition Inspection (ACI) consisting of dirty and clean layouts for the PT6A-68 test article • Providing PT6A-68 engine test maintenance support (to include required periodic inspections) • Providing PT6A-68 engine test spare and repair parts • Submitting Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) to the Government which will consists of, but not limited to: AMT Test Plan, AMT Test Report, Integrated Master Schedule/Teat Schedule, Meeting Minutes, ACI Report, Financial Reporting The Government will provide both one serviceable PT6A-68 engine and one serviceable propeller as Government Furnished Property for use to conduct the AMT. The Government will not provide any technical data related to the test effort. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336412. The period of performance for this requirement will be from 18 to 24 months. All interested and qualified sources should notify this office by electronic mail quincy.jackson@wpafb.af.mil. Documentation may be submitted electronically in Microsoft Word, Fed Ex, or via USPS mail. Any information provided is voluntary. Telephone calls will not be accepted. Be advised the government will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to this sources sought. All cost associated with this sources sought will be solely at the expense of the respondents. Additionally, all submissions become government property and will not be returned. No basis for a claim against the government shall arise as a result from a response to this sources sought. INDUSTRY DAY/SITE VISIT An industry day/site visit is not scheduled for this requirement. The government will assume no responsibility for any understanding or representations concerning the conditions made by any of its officers or agents prior to an executed contract.
