Description
Synopsis: W15P7T-12-R-C006 Standard Ground Station (SGS) This synopsis is published for informational purposes only. No response to this posting is required. Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) intends to solicit a requirement for up to 218 Standard Ground Station (SGS) Systems. SGS is part of the Base Expeditionary Targeting and Surveillance System - Combined (BETSS-C). The SGS is the operator console (hardware and software) that brings together all the BETSS-C sensors. These sensor systems are: (1) RAID tower sensors, (2) Cerberus tower sensors, and (3) the Force Protection Suite (FPS) sensors. The SGS ingests, displays, and disseminates the video and metadata for these sensors. The SGS also stores video for archiving purposes so that video may be retrieved at a later time as needed. This will be a hardware only procurement where Potential Offerors will be provided a Technical Data Package (TDP) and Statement of Work (SOW) upon which to base their proposed effort, delivery schedule, and pricing. Brand Name components will be specified in the solicitation in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(c) and FAR 5.102(a)(6). TerraSight software will be provided as Government Furnished Information (GFI) upon award. It will be used to display the sensor information in a geo-located format. The SGS system as a whole (both hardware and software) is the cornerstone of the BETSS-C system objective to provide a common Graphic User Interface (GUI) for all BETSS-C sensors. The SGS procurement will be a competitively-solicited, total small business set-aside, awarded on the basis of Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) in accordance with FAR 15.101-2. The Government intends to issue a multiple-award, three-year, Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract. The Government intends to make up to two (2) SGS contract awards under which the selected sources will compete for delivery orders on the basis of price, schedule, and/or other factors as validated SGS requirements arise during the three-year contract ordering period. Note: Sustainment support will not be a part of this procurement. The solicitation number assigned to this effort is W15P7T-12-R-C006 and will be issued on or about November 18, 2011. The estimated award date is January/February 2012. The NAICS code for this procurement is 334119. All responsible small business sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Any interested offerors are invited to access the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi?ASFI_FAQ.cfm.
