Description

This is not a solicitation announcement. This is a sources sought synopsis only. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification (hubzone, 8(a), small, small disadvantage, small veteran owned business or service disabled veteran owned small business) relative to NACIS 339113. The Veterans Affairs, Southern Nevada Health System (VASNHS) is seeking sources for the procurement of an Integrated Power Console (IPC ®) with cart, for Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) surgery which is equal to the brand name of MEDTRONIC. The IPC ® System is a multispecialty surgical power console for removing soft tissue, hard tissue, and bone during ENT surgeries. If a brand name other than Medtronic is offered, training may be required for medical staff (for use) and/or Biomedical staff (for Maintenance). The selected contractor shall provide all items requested per the requirements. These items shall be delivered to the VASNHS Warehouse, 5406 E. El Campo Grande Ave., Suite 150, Las Vegas, NV 89115. Responses to this notice shall be emailed to Scott Wolfe at Scott.Wolfe@va.gov. Telephone responses will not be accepted. Responses must be received in writing no later than 6:00 PM, PST November 7, 2011. This notice is to assist the VA in determining sources only. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued it will be announced at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. Responses to this sources sought is not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the solicitation.
