- SOURCES SOUGHT THIS IS ONLY A SURVEY OF THE MARKET TO DETERMINE IF THERE ARE POTENTIAL CONTRACTORS THAT CAN SATISFY THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENT: The Department of Veterans Affairs, Bruce W. Carter, Miami VA Medical Center is seeking vendors interested in a potential solicitation for SIEMENS MRI EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE CRYOGEN FILL SERVICES. The estimated value of this procurement is estimated between $20,000.00 and $250,000.00. The applicable North American Industry Class System Code is 325120. The solicitation in its entirety and any amendments may be available at no charge online at http://www.fbo.gov under potential solicitation number VA248-12-Q-0203. The Contractor shall provide on- going Cryogen fill service and maintenance on identified equipment bellow: 30880 SIEMENS MRI SYMPHONY 1.5T 68567 SIEMENS ESPREE 1.5T 51195 SIEMENS ESPREE 1.5T (In Trailer) The equipment is located at the Miami VA Medical Center. Everything shall be in accordance with the statement of work and all terms, conditions, schedules, provisions, and requirements of this potential solicitation and any resultant contract. All equipment shall be maintained in proper operating condition as specified by the manufacturer. Vendor is to have proven access to original equipment manufacturers (OEM) parts, manuals and schematics, which must be available on site to perform the service. Vendors must provide their own OEM manuals and schematics, which must be available on site at the time of service. Vendor will provide two (2) hours of mutually scheduled Biomedical training regarding the operation of the equipment, which may occur during a scheduled PM. All work is to be performed in accordance with the guidelines established by Federal, State and local ordinances, with Manufacturer's Manual and Quality Control Manual, and with all terms, conditions, provisions, schedules and specifications provided herein. The ordering priority for a potential contract will be in accordance with FAR Part 8.002, VAAR 808.002 and VAAR 819.7004 procedures against submitted quotes. Preference given to aforementioned. Please reference the above title in all correspondence pertaining to this acquisition. Your response should include the following: (a) a positive statement of your intent to submit a bid for this solicitation as a prime contractor; (b) a capabilities statement identifying your firm and what kind of services you provide; (c) if applicable your GSA contract number or your firms SBA status (ie SDVOSB, Section 8a etc). Contractors are reminded personnel performing maintenance and repair must be fully qualified, competent Field Service Engineers (FSE). "Fully Qualified" is based upon training and on experience in the field. The Contractor shall provide written assurance of the competency of their personnel and a list of credentials of approved FSE's for each make and model the Contractor services. Also the contractor will provide information on the services and all laws and regulations pertaining thereto. All work must be in compliance with all applicable industry standards, Miami VA Medical Center requirements/policies/procedures, and the Joint Commission.
