Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the test program for commercial items found at FAR 13.5, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotes under solicitation number: VA262-12-Q-0062. The Department of Veterans Affairs Long Beach Healthcare System, Long Beach, California has a requirement for Fit Testing, Training and Certification services. Contractor shall furnish all materials for services at the following Veterans Affairs Healthcare Systems in Southern California: Long Beach (5901 E. 7th St. Long Beach, CA 90822), Greater Los Angeles (11301 Wilshire Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90073), Loma Linda (11201 Benton St. Loma Linda, CA 92357), and San Diego (3350 La Jolla Village Dr. San Diego, CA 92161). The solicitation will be in accordance with FAR Part 12, 13.5 and 19, Acquisition of Commercial Items, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items, and Small Business Programs. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 621399; size standard $7,000,000.00. This is a 100% total small business set-aside. The Contractor shall adhere to all federal and state laws and regulations in effect during the term of this contract. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract. The Contract begins on 1-1-2012. Due to time constraints, responses to the solicitation shall be due on Monday, November 21, 2011 at 12:00PM PST. Offerors are advised that it is your responsibility to review and monitor the website frequently to ensure you have the most up to date information, including amendments.
