- Attachment #6, VPM Deployable Mechanisms Specifications Attachment #5, Contract Data Requirements List Attachment #4, VPM system requirements Attachment #3, Payload Interface Requirements Document (PIRD) Attachment #2, Representations and Certifications Attachment # 1, Cost Proposal Instructions BAA Full Text The Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) Space Vehicles Directorate (RV), Integrated Experiments and Evaluation Division (RVE), and Battlespace Environment Division (RVB) is interested in receiving proposals from all offerors to advance the state-of-the-art and scientific knowledge in space weather technology. Proposals that either enable future space systems to meet performance, reliability, maintainability, supportability and affordability goals, or which enhance performance or significantly reduce cost, schedule, or risk of existing technologies, are of particular interest. This is a Closed Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) describing the research areas of interest for the Innovative NanoSat Experimental Series (INXS) program, Very Low Frequency and Particle Mapper (VPM) mission. A single award of a contract is anticipated with a period of performance of 21 months. Note also that the BAA attachments include detailed specifications. A Sources Sought for this requirement was conducted under the tracking number FA9453-11-VPMSS in June 2011. Early proposal submissions are allowed and encouraged.
