Description
Request for quotes and statement of work. NIST has a requirement for a high-speed X-ray CCD Detector. Please see the attached RFQ for details. Email attached RFQ form and/or quote to mayns@nist.gov. Set aside 100% to small business. Simplified Acquisition Procedures apply to this purchase. PURPOSE: Purchase of a high-speed X-ray CCD detector for plasma source characterization. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS: (1) X-ray CCD detector and surrounding housing (2) Powered by 115 Volt, 60 Hz, single phase power (North American configuration) (3) CCD size of 100x1340 pixels or larger, with larger arrays given preference (4) Shift register speed of 2 MHz or higher, with faster speeds given preference (5) CCD to be back-illuminated with no anti-reflection coating for useful efficiencies below 1 keV (6) CCD to be deep-depleted for useful efficiencies at 10-20 keV (7) CCD detector to include USB2 interface or faster and appropriate command software (8) CCD detector to be in an open configuration or to have a removable window (9) CCD to have internal thermoelectric cooling (10) CCD to have read noise and dark current suitable for high-resolution single-photon X-ray spectroscopy (11) CCD to have external trigger (12) Scientific grade CCD with a minimum of blemishes (13) Readout modes that facilitate faster measurement of sub-regions of the CCD detector are desirable. These modes can include binning so that charge in multiple pixels is combined and cropping so that only a subset of the detector array is measured.
