Description
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement to demolish and remove the old Air Traffic Control Tower at the Rocky Mountain Metro Airport (BJC) in Broomfield Colorado. In accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acquisition Management System (AMS) Policy 3.2.1.2.1 - this announcement is to conduct a Market Survey for the purpose of soliciting statements of interest and capabilities from interested vendors. This announcement is not a screening information request (SIR) or request for offer (RFO) of any kind. It is for information and planning purposes and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. Further, the FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. This market survey is also being conducted in order to obtain the information necessary to determine whether adequate competition exists to set-aside the competition among small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses (SDVOSB) or SBA 8(a) certified firm. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this requirement is: 238910. SDVOSB and SBA 8(a) companies are highly encouraged to submit on this Market Survey. Emails only, no phone calls. Potential vendors must have at least 5 years experience in the following: 1). The removal of asbestos, lead, and other hazardous waste during the demolition of a building in the State of Colorado. The contractor must have all the license and meet all the training requirements of Colorado, Division of Materials and Waste Management. 2). The contractor must have supervisors certified by the State of Colorado for asbestos abatement and removal. 3). The removal of multiple storied buildings.
