- Network Contracting Office (NCO) is plan to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to obtain provide Food Transportation and Kitchen Services work to Department of Veterans Affairs, located in Honolulu, Hawaii. The solicitation number for this RFP is VA-261-12-R-0118. The solicitation will be issued on or about November 14, 2011 with an anticipated proposal due date of November 28, 2011. The contractor shall provide all labor, travel, equipment, supplies and materials to include at a minimum two (2) Food Service Workers (FSW) to promptly transport food from Tripler Army Hospital (TAMC) to the Center for Aging (CFA). The Food Service Workers will also perform a variety of routine duties in the kitchen, dining room and other areas as needed 365 days per year. The Period of Performance of the Base Year begins January 1, 2012 through December 30, 2012 with one option year. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. The NAICS is 722310 and the size standard is $35.5M. This acquisition is 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses and this will be a firm fixed priced contract. Contractors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at https://orca.bpn.gov/login.aspx Interested firms fitting one or more of the Socio-economic (Veteran Owned Small Business, Small Business) categories should send their information by email to Helena.zhao@va.gov no later than 1:00PM Pacific Standard Time, 11 November 2011. Information should include: Name of your Company, POC name, phone numbers, email address, CCR/DUNS number, and indicate status i.e. SDVOSD or VOSB and whether Vetbiz/CVE certified.
