Description
The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Center - Fort Knox is conducting market research for the following requirement: iPERMS Life Cycle Maintenance and Project Management Support, Fort Knox, KY The purpose of this announcement is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of contractors who can support this requirement as a prime contractor. Services would include, but are not limited to: The iPERMS Program requires Life Cycle (LC) hardware maintenance and management services at three major sites for the Department of the Army and fifty-four states and territories for the Army National Guard. This includes the primary site located at Fort Knox, Kentucky and the failover COOP site located at Ft. Carson, Colorado Springs, CO. iPERMS requires a combination of guaranteed response times and repair times to insure uninterrupted support for our nations Soldiers, Veterans and retirees. Technician support personnel must provide superior services and those services must be provided by certified technicians familiar with the iPERMS site operations; software integration and the interaction of the equipment between each component. It is the expectation of the iPERMS PMO that the contractor will respond to service requests within the guaranteed specific time required when notified of a need for service. The contractor shall properly diagnose the hardware problem, correct it, and return the equipment to operational status within the time specified by the PMO. The Contractor shall integrate all newly acquired technology which includes, but is not limited to, installation and configuration, and act as a liaison for warranty services for the equipment. The Contractor is expected to manage the transfer of iPERMS equipment between sites, and when necessary to remove and dispose of obsolete equipment. In addition to specific network, system, and storage equipment hardware maintenance services, the iPERMS PMO requires technical expertise, and engineering services to integrate these support activities; provide the PMO information and analysis on IT advances that will benefit the program, and develop program strategies that include SLAs and fee for service models with other components and civilian agencies. This announcement is not a request for proposal. It is a market research tool being used to determine procurement strategy. Appropriate procurement strategy will be determined after consideration of industry response to this sources sought announcement. The government is not obligated to, and will not, pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this announcement. A statement of interest in this requirement. 2. A synopsis of the contractor's capabilities, past performance and experience information, including contacts, for contracts similar to the services listed above. 3. Company size: Small or large, HUBZone, 8(a), SDB, Woman-owned, Service disabled veteran-owned. 4. Contact information, to include name, e-mail address, phone number, and fax number. 5. Teaming Arrangements: Anticipated teaming arrangements (delineate between work accomplished by prime and work accomplished by teaming partners)
